I taught my first piano lesson today!! Yay!!!
It was kind of nerve-wracking, not really knowing what to expect.
But it was one of those you-don't-know-until-you-try things. I think it went quite well.
It's a wierd feeling--being a teacher. But a really good feeling.
"Remember also thy Creator in the days of thy youth, before evil days come, and the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them." Ecclesiastes 11:9-12:1

Viruses, etc...
Happy New Year!!
By viruses I don't mean that we've been sick...yet. But, before our computer succumbs to another one, I think I should give a small sampling of what's been going on around here.
So, as you might have guessed, our computer had a virus for three weeks! Dad searched all over the Internet till he found a solution. Crazy, eh?
Viruses stink. And then when we thought it was finally over, Dad found another one just yesterday on Lydia's memory stick which spread to my computer and Lydia's laptop.
What gives those virus-making-people pleasure from doing this, I don't know.
I wonder what life was like without computers?
Anyway, Lydia's back to school and surviving. :)
Katelynn's learning classical guitar; which is pretty cool.
And Reuben and Linnea are learning karate.
Right now, I only have Algebra and Consumer Math to finish, along with piano and flute lessons.
I'm starting to memorize 2 songs on piano. Yuck.
I think I'm going to bed now....God's blessings for the year ahead!
